Our take
I picked up this PXG Lightning 4 Wood for my dad, who needed a senior flex option. The high-grade carbon fiber crown gives it a solid feel at impact, and the 17-degree loft launches the ball nicely from the fairway. The Project X 2.0 Cypher 40 shaft is lightweight but still feels stable. The oversize grip is a nice touch for arthritic hands. Being used, it showed some wear but nothing major. My only complaint is that the senior flex might be too soft for faster swing speeds, but for its intended user, it's a great club. The included headcover is a bonus. Overall, a solid fairway wood for seniors.
